Looking at Pax's polished Marina Militare I would say they are pretty close as far as the cases are concerned.

The Marine Diver looks a bit more "polished" and the sapphire crystal helps in terms of the overall look. Both the MM and the Marine Diver are great watches. I feel the MD to be a bit more substantial but that could be purely psychological. The lume on the MD is better for sure though not amazing. Looking at Pax's polished Marina Militare I would say they are pretty close as far as the cases are concerned.
