As you may or may not know, I own the same Avier. Great watch and you are right about it being super versatile. As an homage to an Aquanaut the watch really does straddle the line between dress and sport imho. Funny little aside. Last week while coaching my Pee Wee baseball the opposing coach just happens to be the spouse of a middle school sweetheart of mine who now runs the high end jewellery and watch store in town. As we shook hands before the game I noted his Daytona and complimented it. He said thanks and told me I had a good eye and As we went through the game I could see him peeping my watch which was the Avier. At the end of the game handshake (we won 4-0) he complimented my Aquanaut. I had to laugh and show him what it really was... ![]() Regardless it is a great watch for little dough. Great finishing and a number of surface on the case and bracelet which all tie together nicely. Screwed links on a very comfortable bracelet imho. I really enjoy the many dial color variations this one throws in sunlight. I don't know if there is AR on the crystal but I get some very delicious deep blue almost purplish hues off the dial in the sun. Nice grab, welcome to the club ![]() ![]() And the AK has a great look. Miyota powered?
