Ken,

I've got one and can attest to the solid and reliable nature of this piece. I got mine off the Bay for a few ducats less than what you are looking at...believe me, after postage it was a wash compared to the Watchseller price. The Bay seller I used has one right here.

Very reliable 2836-2 movement (MIDO enhanced) with a solid case and sharply edged bezel. You won't struggle to grab the bezel, in fact you better be careful.

The stap is a nice resin bit that is very comfortable and easily cleaned after dirty duty. The saphire crystal catches the sun and gives you a couple different color looks depending on the angle, from a deep blue to a rich grey. Don't think the indices are gold, but nice clean design with great lume. Sunlight causes a pretty reflective patten to jump around the interior of your car or on sslected victim's faces... I have been very happy with the watch.

The deployment clasp is fine but scuffs easily. No big thing in my mind... I like them to show a little use and will just go brushed if it gets to bother me...

Mido's site shows them like this:

Overall a nice diver with what I consider to be good looks!

go for it!!

cheers,
