I can understand why all the automatic (and a lot of quartz) chronographs have a 30 minute dial? WHY? there are not 30 minutes in an hour. Was a gear with more teeth impossible to fit in the movement. As far as I'm concerned the guys as Sinn hit the mark with the U1000. If you ignore the styling (which I love) modifying the Valjoux 7750 to have a 60 minute dial is exactly what it should have.

Sometime I think they are taking the easy way out, take the Invicta chronograph I just bought. I thought the 24 hour dial was for the chronograph, which would have been sweet, but no it is a 24 hour dial. (nonadjustable for 2nd time zone) It can not have been to difficult to make it work with the chorno, so I just atribute it to laziness.

If a watch like the Breguet Marie-Antoinette can be made then a 60 minute or 24 hour dial should be available. As the norm!  btw anders your divergraph chrono hit the mark!

(oh and give props to Sinn for the pushers that work all the way down to 1000m)
