Thought I'd post a little something you may find interesting. Regardless of the laws of the Swiss for 'marking of watches', the only thing that matters in the USA is what the CBP thinks (Customs and Border Protection). Attached is a link to a 16 page document on the proper marking and classification of watches and clocks. If you think they don't take this stuff seriously, guess again. Last year I had 100 pieces of Stovard Jurgenson time pieces denied entry into the US because the cases weren't marked properly.
