I still have it, and amazingly it is in decent shape but seriously needs cleaning.  It will run for a little while then stop.  I haven't been able to find any watchmaker willing to look at it.  "Can't get parts" is the same refrain, though I know it just needs a cleaning to remove 38 years of dirt!
Our local watchmaker's father replaced the crystal on it 30 years ago, but he won't touch it either :X

The pic isn't mine, but it is identical to the watch in the middle.
There are two Cimier branded ones on the 'Bay right now.

Zippofan, your chrono smells like a column wheel. If it truly is (and not lever) it will be very hard to fix, IMHO. Yes, it can be priceless.
