Gentlemen, any comments? Would the WD-40 trick work? Hope this helps, Parabola.

Parabola, if not too late, this might do it: put a drop of WD-40 (use the liquid version, not the spray) on the screw head, let it dry a bit and using the manufacturer-supplied driver, gently unscrew it. I have never done this with a watch screw before but I usually do that to my kids' toys. And it has never failed me at all.:) Gentlemen, any comments? Would the WD-40 trick work?
