if you use the masking tape it fill the slot of the screw and adds to the secure fit of the driver...allow the driver to punture the tape you apply...some use 2 sided tape and that even secures the driver better from what I have been toldhand6.gif
This is the kind of 'gold' I frequent forums for. I think this will be especially useful for those of us with the PVD screws to prevent creation of shiny spots on the screws.
Alas, I will need to order a couple more pvd lug screws and pins. Would Steve have these, or do I need to go direct to Ralf? PM's will be sent to them shortly to find out.
