This is the kind of 'gold' I frequent forums for. I think this will be especially useful for those of us with the PVD screws to prevent creation of shiny spots on the screws.
Alas, I will need to order a couple more pvd lug screws and pins. Would Steve have these, or do I need to go direct to Ralf? PM's will be sent to them shortly to find out.
FYI, if you damage or lose the PVD screws or pins you can only replace them with stainless steel screws and pins (according to Ralf, as there was no extra PVD hardware ordered due to high cost of these items to be PVD'd). So those of you with PVD watches please take extra care to not scratch or lose your screws when changing straps! Of course, the stainless ones work just the same, just shiny silver instead of black.
