Sorry to hear about that Geoff... I bought a Herc 199 a couple of months ago and it lasted about a month before the crown snapped off in my hand while trying to wind it. I never actually wore the watch and like you was not impressed at all with the quality. The case looked like the inside of a coke can (cheap), the leather strap was really cheap and as I said the crown snapped off in my hand. coyote2.gif Bill
