ummm Kang I think the Nixon/Quicksilver watches would be the copies wanting to look like a Cartier or other high end name brand Buddy...and I highly doubt Cartier is using veneers on a $30,000. watch ;)
Haha fair comment, but you know what they say about "who comes first". I can appreciate that the centrelinks would be solid wood lathed to shape, but for the dial....I don't know. Technically a veneer would do the job just fine. But I don't profess to be an expert on this.
No hassles, it's a unique take on a classic. Guess it just didn't sit so well with my preconceptions of the brand.
