 Had the same problem with my wife, wanted something new but could not find anything she liked so I let her try a few of my 42mm to 44mm watches, she was hooked on that size....she has a really small wrist, probably 6 inches to 6 1/4 inches and she loves this size watch. 

The problem I have now is keeping her away from my watches.

If you think about it a woman with this size wrist wearing a 43mm or 44mm watch is not much different than a guy with a 6 3/4 inch wrist, lime me, wearing a 47mm or 48mm watch.

I would suggest having her try a Pam homage, you can pick one up cheap, under $100, you might be surprised.
