It makes it easier AND more complicated :) It's easier because it's just a simple unscrewing to remove the bar. The bar is not as think as the springbar on an Orange Monster (I say this because I DID have issues w/ straps on my OM), so it didn't pose any problems sliding it into a rubber strap at all. I say it is harder, because if you are a PRO at the springbar change, it will slow you down. PLUS, whenever you are dealing with small screws, it can be a pain to keep track of them.
