 It is a good idea to search the forum beofre asking but for you convenience I'll just give some major points.:D

 

ETA = Swiss, hacking, handwinding

Miyota = Japanese, non-hacking and only some models handwind

I personally want an ETA movement over a Miyota but there are some great watches using Miyota movements.
