Got a fun Orient today from one of last week's daily deals at OrientalWatchSite.com. Pretty painless experience and I picked up a fun sport watch. This a LE to commemorate rally car great Marcus Grohnholm's 2007 World Championship for the Ford/BP team. Mine is 908 of 2007... so take that for what its worth.;)

This watch goes against my typical requirements in that it has the tachymeter and no chrono function (a pet peeve) and a semi-skeletonized dial. Not only that but it is not the ultimate in easy legibility due to the stylized door terminating in the large orange "3", Gronholm's number. So why did I grab it??face4.gif

The answer is simple... to mix things up a bit and get a fun kicker watch unlike anything I currently own. This watch fits those criteria. Not to mention the orange and blue color pattern which I find irresistible on almost any timepiece, a comfy silicon strap with LE blue inserts on the backside and signed keeper. They even marked the usually unimpressive rotor on the movement on this LE.yourock.gif

I am gonna wear it... may be give it to my son if his wrist is big enough though I don't think he's ready for an automatic and hope this LE climbs in value...
