Massive amounts of new production high grade ammo has hit the "Black Market" in Iraq.  Up until recently sources report that all of the old ammo was left over from the old Iraqi stockpiles.  There are around 14 billion bullets manufactured annually and no reliable records as to where they go.  China, Egypt, Iran, Brazil, Bulgaria, Romania, and Israel are among the major ammo exporters that do not report data on sales.
