Hey Andy, it sounds like you are getting some great advice from your fellow 3T members. I would suggest one other technique for saving for the Rolex. As an old AFSOC pilot I know you're on the road (TDY) very often, well don't spend all of your TDY check (deposit). It used to be easier because the Govt. would mail you a separate check which I would put into my "fun things for Norm" account. You could see if any of the other crew members want a Rolex also, then you might be able to get the Auth. Dealer to give you a discount because he sold two watches at the same time? I say if it is possible get the Rolex and I bet you'll never wish you had bought the homage.
