The terminology is all different. bios = pram on a Mac. Or it used to anyway. I don't have a new Intel machine. I have a G-5 with the older processor series. As for running Windows on a Mac, get the latest MacWorld magazine which has a feature article on the subject. Be advised that right now (anyway) the ability to run Windows is via a BETA program. Later this year there will be more coming from Apple on this whole deal. You can run Microsoft Office (the Mac Version) and it is fully compatible with the PC version. That's assuming you and the other person (on the PC) have the same fonts installed. Note: The Mac version of Office does not have Access. It comes with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Entourage (Mac version of Outlook). Last edited on Fri Jun 16th, 2006 06:53 pm by mcwright |
