About Rotary:
Founded in 1895 by Moise Dreyfus, in the
Swiss town of La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland.
By 1920's George and Sylvain Dreyfus, sons of Moise
opened an office in Britain to import the family watches.
In 1925 the winged wheel logo was established.
1934 Rotary launches their first shock proof watch.
During the Second World War, Rotary was the official
supplier to the British Army.
In 1942 Rotary released their first automatic watch.
Throughout the course of Rotary's lifetime,
this brand continues to be a fully independent
family company.
In 1987, Robert Dreyfus the great grandson of Moise.
Joins the company,as the fourth generation family member
and continues the tradition of creating high quality
timepieces.
