Take a look at Russian watches for an affordable, hand winder with a true 24-hour mechanism and dial. Best bets are the Aviator and Sturmanskie models. See the link for a whole page full of 24 hour hand crankers priced $200 or so. These are pretty well proven movements also. Trias also makes an inexpensive 24-hour watch.
