The Miyota movement has a clutch system so you can not overwind it, so wind at will as there is no amount of turns that will hurt it....on a winder you want to set it at 650 rpd. hand6.gif...as far as a Omega SMP coming to a stop after so many winds....never heard nor witnessed that with any of my Omegas or really any of my automatics? :D...that's sounds more like a mechanical movement ie; Unitas 6497 or any other mechanical hand cranker hand6.gif
