The only company that I know who copied (Yep, I would not say homage) the Monster design, is Invicta with the Abyss Diver. They have a different case but use the same bezel and dial. Other than that , I would say the Seiko monster is, and will remain a classic. Its case design is drastic, unique and timeless IMHO. The first time a saw this watch on the net, I really thought it was ugly and couldn't understand why every single review (and there is tons of them) had so much praised for this not so nice looking watch...Then you buy one on steel bracelet on ebay for $155 and when you hold it in your hands, you understand why. Monster, definitely keeper. It was ugly in 2001. It's still ugly in 2009 and I love it! (beautifully ugly I mean )
