Now, with that said, I personally think that there is nothing wrong with the Sellita movement, which is an almost identical copy of the ETA 2824, as precise and also Swiss made. I understand that being a copy, Sellita doesn't have the merit of developing it and I also prefer the ETA but I think it will become THE movement once Swatch Group stops selling their movements at the end of 2010. If I have to chose between a Chinese copy or a Swiss copy, well I don't even have to think about it, I chose Sellita. I have one watch with this movement (Invicta 9937) and it's been at +2 sec a day for the last three years so...:shock: Pax, I must be blind because I cannot see anywhere on their site that the watch uses a Sellita movement? ![]() Last edited on Tue Sep 15th, 2009 10:47 am by DM71 |
