I agree the DeBaufre would have been a much better choice imhohand6.gif
I concur that the DeBaufre is indeed a closer match ... however I did leave out a few key points:
1. While I like the crown on the IWC (and the closer match on the DeBaufre than the CWard), it is just too big for my taste. I've seen the IWC worn by someone at the poker table and it is indeed striking, but the crown almost drowns the rest of the watch.
2. I prefer a white face to a black face.
3. I think the markings on the face of the CWard are much more aesthetically pleasing than the Streinhart or the DeBaufre.
4. For only $100 more than the price of the DeBaufre (assuming I can even find one), I'm getting both the CWard and the Praesto Modern Fliegeruhr - Aviator.
