It's a lot of money for a Seiko, and I'm disappointed that he didn't go with a real automatic (because this is really all about what I want!).  He says it was the silver face and sub-dials that sold him.

Anyone know of an automatic that might compete with this style Kinetic? He hasn't purchased anything yet.

If not, thanks again for the recommendations. I might be picking up one of those Christopher Ward's for myself!

 

 



"Automatic that might compete with this style Kinetic?" Easy. The Lange & Sohne Big Date series of Lange 1....but that's just for style (minus the sub counters). For the price, add another zero to the budget and multiply by 4subtlelaugh.gif.

That Kinetic is ok but in my opinion, doesn't really hit the bullseye for a dress watch though.
