Hi nabco. The answer is that yes, any bracelet attachment, and in particular some of the mesh bracelets which have a lug bar, will eventually scratch the inside of the lugs. In my experience, Omega mesh does it less than most others, because the mesh itself is what you put the springbars through, and the mesh is rounded where it contacts the inner part of the lugs (so fewer rough edges to make a scratch). Sadly, IMHO, there is nothing one can do but wear with care, hope, and understand that constant movement of a solid lug end, or exposed mesh (or any metal bracelet) itself, will eventually leave wear marks. Hey - it even happens when leather moves constantly against the inner part of the lug, but admittedly to a lesser extent. Take a look at my "what-you-wearing" posts and even my avatar - and you will see what mesh looks like up to the inner part of the lugs. It is a sacrifice I am happy to make for the look, style and comfort - I hope you enjoy your mesh bracelet, too.

Cheers, mate. IanM hand6.gif
