Murph, I used to run 10k 3 to 4 times a week about 20 years ago. I did it for about 3 years and my pace was 6 minutes per kilometer. Whenever I ran, I would wear my Timex with a beeper. I'd tear through Sauconys, Brooks, Nikes and Reeboks like about a pair a quarter and threw each one away when it started to pronate. Well, all that running boomeranged on me and now my knees keep bugging me. Don't get carried away. Do it in moderation. If you don't, you'll end up paying for it someday
