Well, I did the preview with borrowed pics. Now it got here, and I have the real ones! The obliged wrist shot ![]() Dial printing and decoration are perfect, and the black second hand with the logo is classy. Does not feel big compared to the Monstrum I was using today... but it is a 40mm, so not that small. One of the reasons behind my purchase was the bargain price, at roughly the price of the movement. And I was missing and wanting a 2893 in my collection. The movement is nicely decorated, far better than most of the 2824's I have seen. Beautiful "cotes de Geneve" all over the movement and rotor. The logo deeply engraved in the rotor (as well as in the crown), giving it a quality look. ![]() Good quality leather strap, with a very nice deeply engraved logo deployant. Presentation wooden box is top notch as well, with a big and nice velvet pillow with golden logo (the only better one I have is the one that came with my Gevril inside...). Bottom line, a very well made and presented watch, with top notch movement, and the price I paid is a steal. Attention to detail and build quality are outstanding Very happy with it for the moment! I am timing it, but do not expect any surprises. As a matter of fact, in the first 3 hours, it is still in the "second" range with the quartz using for timing. "hanging out" in front of some of the boys... ![]()
