I thought the review was a very informative one and went straight to the point. Thanks, Mark.

I have just one Citizen Promaster in Ti and I don't have a Fortis. All I can say is that the Citizen runs in the range Mark mentioned and to me that's fine because it' not big deal for the price I got it for relative to my other pieces.

The only things I don't like about the Promaster are 1) its small size at about 40mm and 2) the "sandy friction" you feel when you changes dates/days. All my other pieces can be adjusted with a smooth, subtle motion --- but not this Citizen. Maybe I'm not used to the Miyota yet; and 3) the power reserve is not as much as I thought it would be.

But I agree with Canadajo, in a deserted island all by myself, I'd opt for the Citizen mainly because of its screw-down feature. All by myself, I'd have enough time to learn the left-handed orientation of this watch subtlelaugh.gif(a simple trick  I learned is to reverse the watch upside down so that I get to adjust time/dates/days using my right hand....somehow the eyes and the brain coordinate better with the fingers versus using the originally intended left handed orientation).
