Oscar, I'm glad you got yours, and it looks great! Unfortunately, my wait continues as outlined in this e-mail: Hello gentlemen. As you may know I received the Cave Dwellers the other day. Many of you are first time Boschett customers and may not be aware that I inspect each and every watch before I ship them out. I don't just give them a cursory look I’m quite detailed in my review. I look them over from a WIS’s point of view, not like someone just in it for a paycheck. If any of you are at all like me, you may have assumed I did all this, because it would be the right thing to do. While virtually everything about this watch exceeded my expectations, like the new bezel and clasp, during my quality control procedures, I found a rather minor issue with the crown on the watches with the ETA 2824. For those of you who have one of my other watches, you will know I’m a little obsessed about the crown and want it to operate flawlessly, my Reef Ranger being the perfect example. In the case with the Cave Dweller, it is what we in the business call “finicky” (a small attempt a humor). Plain and simple, I’m not comfortable shipping the watches as is. As mentioned before, many of you are new customers of mine and I’d hate to make a bad first impression. Right now I am working diligently on a solution and will have more information in the days to come. I ask that you accept my apology for this inconvenience and also ask for your understanding. Please be patient while I make your watch worthy of the Boschett brand.
Yours truly, Keith Boschetti BOSCHETT Timepieces ![]() Stu Last edited on Sun Nov 22nd, 2009 02:45 am by smith1792 |
