For the past 10 years, we have been going to the Cedar Lake Xmas tree farm in Iron Station, NC and we have never missed a trip! it has become one of our family tradition and traditions are important... we hope our kids will remember those times for ever and form their own tradition with their families (a long time form now:) No RUSH!).

Usually even out two oldest daughters go, but this year their work schedule did not allow it:( Even though we won't be in the country for the holidays, Melody & I made the trip today with our three youngest (Jade 11, Raven 9, Zoe 4) and with our best friends Fred & Annie and their two daughters.

Since we are leaving for France in two weeks and won't be back until Jan 4th, we did not buy a tree but we did buy a couple of wreaths, drank some hot cider and the kids enjoyed petting the animals and climbing the "hay mountain" as they say!:) The sky was gorgeous, the sun out... a beautiful in NC!

Here are our pics... you'll see the Barracuda made the trip toohand6.gif
