I've got several PVD pieces, I haven't had any trouble with PVD on he cases and bezels but bracelets and clasps not so good, If you can enjoy them on a strap you shouldn't have to worry too much about the PVD... I still wouldn't poor concrete or work on your diesel engine with one on though! And that is an awesome watch!
