It was always hard to wind but I never gave it much thought as I would wind it a few times and put it on and let my wrist do the rest. But maybe it will loosen up I'll have to work with it for a week and if it doesn't get any better I'll call LP and ask them..Heck its a life time warrenty! Thanks everyone!
