Jeff! I understand your divided mind: The case,bezel are really great: No doubt that there is a charm and quality there... But the movement is nothing really special.
You know what is a really special movement: You own some damn good ones in your collection;)
Tudor is high in price because it's just a more affordable Rolex: It's been created for that I suppose... To target people who was too short for a Rolex but wanted the same look and case quality.
One day, 15 years ago, a jeweler showed me his Rolex and told "I was twice in the sahara desert with it and still after 25 years it hold under a minute late by month..."
He was proud.
But that was the movement he did admire the most...
The case follows generally in quality...;)
