DJRHodes71.....just a rejoinder and maybe just to help you out a bit on the problem of getting the watches wound with a daily workout: 1) If I go to work in long sleeves and/or a monkey suit, I always wear 2 watches: 1 on each wrist. All the folks at the office and our counterparties know this thing about me. I guess Omegaman and I are the same on this and for sure some other 3T WIS, too. My heart goes out to Nic's daily dilemna with his 130+ watches ![]() 2) If I hit the field/stores/kitchens and need to wear short sleeves, I wear one on the wrist and 1 or 2 in my pockets. 3) When I get home, I change to the watches I never got to wear for that day and then change into cargo shorts. Each pocket of the cargo shorts will have a watch. Lastly, I wear some leather-strapped watches on each belt loop of my shorts. Thus at home, at any time, I will have about 8 to 10 watches on me getting a fairly good workout as I move around. On your comment about looking at the other person's wrist the first time you meet him, I guess a lot of us are the same. It's easy to roughly size-up a guy's personality through the watch he wears. In 7 out of 10 cases, I'm usually right about the watch-personality linkage. :) Last edited on Thu Dec 31st, 2009 11:16 pm by bigrustypig |
