CAt least the people got their money's worth with 3 rounds in this fight as opposed to 90 seconds or so and BAM! Shamrock quits again! I'm not sure what you mean. Shamrock/Ortiz fight? That lasted a little over a minute with a complete bs stoppage. Blah blah blah, Shamrock wasn't defending himself. What the ref seemed to forget is that is HOW Shamrock defends himself. He blocks shots with his face. Not saying it is a good strategy, but it is his. Followed by immediate talks of rematch. They better put it Spike or they should let all those people who paid to see the actual fight, watch it for free. If you are talking about the Sylvia/AA fight, it was a total borefest. NO heavyweight bout, especially a title heavyweight bout should last 5 rounds. Somebody should be tapping or getting ktfo'd (which is what really should have happen.) 25 minutes of 2 people who are scared to commit for fear of getting ko'd by the other guy makes for a horrible fight. They should be completely ashamed for their performance. I really don't care to pay for dudes to jab for 25 minutes. Not one attempt from AA to take it to the ground? Pathetic. There needs to be some serious contract changes after that heavyweight fight. I've seen more brutality watching gay dancers fall on their face on So You Think You Can Dance. Which was free. If you disregard the fact that I just burned about an hour and a half of my life watching a girly kinda show. But hey, my wife likes the drama. Now they are talking about some freak from Australia fighting for the title. Lame! The next fight should be Vera. He will not dance around with Sylvia! Dana better be ripping some ass. I personally will not be ordering another fight until cards either get better or the people paid to fight, show up. I'll stick to watching Spike and the fights on HDnet. WFA also signed a deal with Showtime. They had a special on lastnight on the upcoming ppv. I did not watch it considering I was falling asleep watching what was supposed to be 3 hours of action packed, warrior on warrior battles. It is replaying this week and I will be taping it. Ricco will be fighting on the ppv and it will be interesting to see if he is still a big fatty or he begins to get back to his championship weight. I do agree that 185 will be interesting and SHOULD be fun to watch. Can't wait for Franklin to return. But nothing is going to be as big as Liddell v Silva. Of course, assuming that it happens. If Liddel gets beat by Babalu I'm gonna be pissed. As far as I'm concerned that fight should be canned. Just let Liddell fight Silva. Because god forbid he loses to Babalu (which can easily happen) everybody will say it was planned to avoid the fight with a Silva and Pride. Because Liddell getting creamed by Silva would have proved how weak the UFC is and how Pride is far superior. That is the last crap I wanna have to sit down and read. And the last disappointing news from lastnight. GSP is a coach in the upcoming TUF 4. Great! A guy who can't speak english. At least it will be the return of Randy, as he is the other coach. Sorry about the book I just wrote. I'm still bitter about the whole ppv. I want to end on a positive note. One really good thing about the ppv lastnight. NO JOE ROGAN. Boy was it refreshing.
