Thank you sir, I will be doing a full review on the Pyro in the next few days. Make no mistake, I got a deal. (I promised the Doc I wouldnt discuss pricing when I did the review) It was definitely a novelty for me. I have been known to pick up a watch strictly for that reason before. (see: Renato T-REX. really, what the hell am I doing with that thing. its just so... HUGE) for me and the pyro to truly bond, I am thinking of sending it back to the Doc, or take it to my watch guy, and have a Miyota 8215 installed in it. (I asked him about putting a 2824-2, but he told me its hard to do as the hand stem is so short, and the aluminum dial is so thick) my ONLY issue with it is this. Being a watch freak, i KNOW the watch that was used for the teardown and now houses his dial and the miyoto quartz movement. So, I take the cost of the watch that I know was used. and then add the cost of the strap. and then think about the work he put in to make the dial. and painstakingly lume it. and I can live with myself. It really is unique. Im afraid to see what happens if I expose it to more than 30 seconds of light. I may die from UV Radiation. The Dievas? wow. where to begin? I just wanna hold it and look at it. its laying next to my Debaufre right now. (united in Unitas) I have one small rectifiable issue with that watch.. I bought it from the original owner, and I can smell his cologne on the leather strap. I cant smell the nice old vintage leather at all. Nice Kid, I Like him and think i need to take care of him for the deal I got on this watch, and his cologne doesnt stink. but.. Its not mine. (kill the cub mentality) I gotta get some mink oil or something, or leather oil.
