The only option I see for you, and it's not a bad one IMHO, it's to go with an asian 12h chrono, auto movement. I know Nick (nabco) got a very nice Marina Militare, which looked like a 44mm. The watch is beautiful, it seems to keep very good time and, if I'm not mistaken, it's under $300. If you are interested to have a look, I can PM you the sellers address and you can see for yourself.
