 That's pretty much what I was looking for to hear about the St. Moritz watches.  I just didn't have any real knowledge or experience to know.

As far as a budget, I would like to spend less than $500, and buying used is an option.

Realistically I am still going to replace the Timex with a cheap digital watch, but I was just bummed because right now that was the only one I had with anything resembling water resistance.
