I have nothing but respect for all of the Steinhart/Debaufre offerrings, but I'm up to my neck in Divers. I still waiting for them to come out with a great Pilot GMT watch!
I hear you Ken....I had been anxiously awaiting the new Pilot from Debaufre...when the new Aero Gent Officer pilot model was revealed...I have to admit I was let down by the design path that had been taken.
But...I have to admit that I'm really liking some of the new pilot designs coming out of Steinhart...the thing that has been the biggest surprise for me is the (apparently deliberate) different design paths that Debaufre and Steinhart seem to be taking going into the 2010 models. They are really departing from each other much more than in the past where historically the "brand" marking was the only significant difference between the watch models.
I could go for a Pilot GMT model from this brand in a heartbeat!!!
