Horses for courses. Ask yourself WHY you are collecting watches. Some people collect brands, others types (divers eg), others simply because they are hoarders. I am a bit of a mixed breed: I collect chrono watches primarily because I'm interested in the different movements. Some of my vintage chronos will never get any wrist time because thay are ridiculously small, but they form an integral part of my collection. Other watches I buy for no particular reason, so I agree that these should be flipped if they become box potatoes. My collection seems to hover around 80, give or take a few. BTW, once again the only rule that applies, is that there is no rule!
