It looks fantastic! I have always loved this 'newman style xplorer look and I have been lurking around waiting for just the right LRRP to pop up on the forums, this one is as new as you could ask given it uses *idiot screws on the lugs, it even still has the sticker on the caseback!
I spent a whole day at work doing nothing but looking at my watch and repeatedly walking up to everyone in the shop and saying "see my new watch, isn't it cool"
I was initially a little startled to find the bezel was omnidirectional and that it didn't even have a clicker but as an homage goes this just how it should be and now I find it kind of fun to just spin it around.
As with most of the MIIK stuff the lume is better than average. I am discovering that the newman style xplorer dial is really quite busy in person, almost to the point of distraction.
I think if I get the itch to customize it I will have the GMT markers on the dial relumed in rescue orange to match the GMT hand and add some contrast between the hour markers and the GMT markers but right now I am honestly quite pleased with it!
The sapphire is also very slightly domed, almost not visible except for the way it reflects light and with its' domed superpowers prevent you from taking a really great picture of it.

*I call screws in the lugs idiot screws because only an idiot would design a watch with screws in the lugs. KISS Keep It Simple Stupid! do you know why everyone else uses springbars? because it is simple and it works! what the heck is wrong with you that you think you need to mess with something as perfect as springbars?
there I said it, somebody had to, screws in the lugs are about as clever as eleven hour markers on a dial!
