 Very good thread! I enjoyed reading it and learning from the exchange among gentlemen.

Just my inputs as an amateur collector and only my opinion: when it comes to homages I set a US$1,000 top limit for it. Beyond that price point, I either look for something else worth owning or hunt down the real thing.

An homage is nice to have and nice to wear..... once in a while.... but as a daily watch, nothing beats owning and wearing the real thing. It's like having a pin-up of Jessica Alba in the garage or toolshed...........nice to look at, nice to have.....but it's not the real Jessica Albatoon1.gif.
