The idea is great, but I have looked into custom made NBR rubber straps and the cost would be a minimum of around $10,000 to get it produced. I am not a big fan of silicone straps and have tried to find new solutions for our new watches like the Italian made NBR rubber straps that we offer with the Worldiver. These are molds that are already in production and do not require the upfront cost of making a custom rubber strap..Thanks for the reply Steve...that's what I thougbht but never hurts to ask,
basically we would need to be selling a lot more watches before we can make a custom rubber strap, it is just not something we can provide yet, but we are always looking to provide something special and will try to someday produce our own NBR rubber strap or another formula that is better than Silicone.
