Thanks Dany! Yes I believe also that a bunch of good water tight automatics would have made it alive through a similar test. The question is: Would have they clear it with only 2 seconds +/- difference in 24 hours? Somes would have, somes would not... Others would maybe had some inside condensation to freeze the mechanism at some point and stop the watch... I made this test out of curiosity, but also to prove that a watch can be very reliable even it's cost is reasonnable... But as I said: You can cross the north Pole with your watch on your wrist, under your jacket's sleeve and it would never suffer the cold as hard as mine did;) Or you would have to be dead frozen...:D
