Hi Strax and welcome to 3T. One of the things I like about collecting watches is the search of great deals. At 3T ,The main interest is timepieces IMOH, as long as it has a movement, your in! Yes mechanical watches are my favorites but I have quartz that I would never get rid of and everybody has different taste and reason to collect watches... If you stick around, you will see that you can get very good quality watches for little money when you know where to look and, I think this is one of most important and most difficult rule about collecting watches, if you can be patient(I know I have difficulties with that myself, but i'm getting better :D) .
