first off let me state that this is not "THE" Sicura. It is a case where some new company has bought the rights to the name... That said, i was looking for a inexpensive beater to use on the boat on the weekend. I saw this Sicura on closeout for $140. It was a Japanese automatic, 300 m water resistant, a good size at 45mm, and i did not have a yellow faced watch so i took a chance on it. What a pleasant suprise... this watch is really nice. it has some additional feature you would not expecton an inexpensive watch like a textured dial, screwed in case back, a nice combination of brushed and polished details on the case, and it came in a nice box. I wore this for a few days and it is extremely comfortable and keeps great time. the whole watch has a nice quality feel. The stem is well supported and movement winds smooth and is not loose at all. The bezel lines up dead straight and moves smoothly with no slop. The lume quality is well above normal. Only bad thing is i am starting fall in love with this watch and don't want to use it as a beater now... what a great watch![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
