This was posted at another forum by a non-watch (still a great person even when at Slop) hostess. Thought you would be interested. :? I felt it was very important to say thank you for the kindness and support you showed to us. The last two days have been so difficult and heartbreaking. Everyone at WSS took a risk to try and create the type of company where people looked forward to coming to work and really cared about the business. We did accomplish that. The tears and hugs among all employees showed that loud and clear. What didn't happen is the influx of millions upon millions of dollars to make a home shopping network run. All of things that bothered you about WSS, bothered us ten times more. But, to make them exactly the way everyone wanted, right away, was way too costly. Please know that every time a message of encouragement was written, it meant a great deal to us. In this crazy, violent world we live in the easiest thing we can do is show an act of kindness and many of you did that over and over again. For those of you who addressed me directly, I read each and every message. I took your thoughtful words to heart and it meant so very much to me. As for the future, no one knows right now what they are going to do. I hope for all of the employees of WSS a very successful and happy life, they deserve it.
