I think the watches look great. R.E. Smith (Resco) posted at another site that Mike Kobald is completely on board with him, and helped him with advice in getting his watch off the ground. There is a nice pic of Kobald wearing the Resco looking pretty happy. It may or may not be your cup of tea, but it is another interesting choice for watch enthusists. Ther has been a lot of postings about whether the watch is worth the money or not, ie Russian movement, 200 m depth rating... Mr Smith says the movement was chosen because it is a workhorse, and can stand up to lots of abuse. 200 meter depth rating should be enough for our functional uses, imho. If you are more than a desk diver, a dive computer with backup is in order. The tough nut for Resco is it goes up against watches with Japanese movements for about half it's price. But i think the watch looks great. Mike
