What is interesting about this watch is that the original pre-order price was about $700 on a much simpler website they originally had. I very much considered purchasing this watch but never pulled the trigger. At its original price it seemed like a good buy, but it becomes much harder to justify at its current price. In a lot of situations start-up watch companies need to offer their first run of watches a bit cheaper than they normally would so that they can get enough customers. Once they have proven themselves as a reliable company it is a different scenario.
